Shocked and very sad to hear of Dan's passing. He thought me how to be a man, drive a truck, ride motorcycles, most important how to earn a living climbing trees, which has served me well for many years. We had our good times and our bad but I always thought of him more like a big brother I never had.I could never thank him enough for the important life lessons I learned from him, many by his mistakes also.My best wishes to Dewitt and the rest of the family Tim O'Malley.

I am so sadden to hear this new about Dan, we here in Auberry, Calif are going to miss him so much. We talked on the phone about 2 weeks before this as he called Gage for his 14th birthday and it was really good to hear Dan's voice...........we are truly shocked by this sad accident and will truly have a missing piece in our hearts.... Dan was a wonderful man and grandfather to Gage and Gage's sister Diamond.... R.I.P. Dan
