Glenn Leon Foster Jr.

Glenn Leon Foster Jr., 80, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on November 5, 2020, at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Moberly, Missouri. Glenn was born April 9, 1940, to Glenn Leon Sr., and Mildred (Johnson) Foster in Moberly, Missouri. He served in the United States Navy. On August 21, 1981, he married Connie Griggs and they celebrated 39 years of marriage. Glenn worked for the Railroad for 30 years before retiring.He was a Golden Eagle for the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Moberly(Aerie 2669). He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Royals. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, working outside in his yard, and a good game of pool. Glenn loved life and was loved by many. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Donnie Foster, Terry Foster and Gary Foster. Survivors include his wife, Connie Foster of Moberly, Missouri; sons: Glenn Michael Foster of Barnegat, New Jersey, Scott (Ada) Foster of Venice, Florida, Greg ( Tricia Mansfield)Foster of Point Pleasant, New Jersey, Conrad Foster of Columbia, Missouri, Charles (Christine) Twyman of Camdenton, Missouri, and Dennis (Linda) Twyman of Lebanon, Missouri; daughters: Julie Foster of Jacksonville, Florida and Lisa (Kevin) Bagley of Aurora, Colorado; brother, Larry (Linda) Foster of Moberly, Missouri; sister, Beth (Charlie) Lomont of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Aerie 2669), 1408 N. Morley St, Moberly, Missouri. A dinner will follow after the service on Saturday. A graveside service will take place on Monday, November 16, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri, with full military honors.
