To all of the family, my prayers for each of you and Sister Joyce and Brother Ronnie, my friend Hurschell will be so missed by me. Even though it has been years since we have talked together, he was like a brother I never had and so was Ronnie, when growing up in Marceline. Joyce, Hurschell and I worked for Pap and Marybell at the Marceline Uptown Show. Joyce showed me how to be a popcorn girl there while she and Barbara Miller attended parties for the graduation Seniors. Thank you Hurschell for taking care of Pap and Marybell Fogalson when they aged, He were their full time Son. I am not sure if Hurschell ever lit that stogie or not but he loved having one between his lips. Again, I will always have fond memories of all the Brothers Hurschell and Ronnie and Sister Joyce. With love and Prayers Sharon Eagan Glascock, Bella Vista, Arkansas 72715

Sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers to the family. Herschel will always be remembered by many people from Whitaker's to the DeGraw movie theater. I'm sure my mother is already playing practical jokes on him. They worked together at Whitaker's. Rest In Peace

Hurd hell was my favorite cousin on the Lain side of my family. His father, Omer Lain was my father Earnest Lain’s brother. My sister, Janice and I got to go to Marceline MO for a week when we were in grade school every summer. I looked four ward to that week like most kids did camp. I lived in KC,Mo on a very heavy traffic street, so Marceline was like heaven to me . We played soft ball, jump rope, cards and giggled a lot. His parents were so good to us. We slept On a pallet on front room floor. His mom always made us a hot breakfast. At my house it was toast and cold corn flakes. Herschel and I have Kept in contact all these years and have seen each other several times. He even came out to Scottsdale, AZ to see me. Any time I was in MISSOUURI I would look him up. I will miss our phone talks my friend and cousin. Rest In Peace. I will see you again heaven. I will still talk with in prayer until then.
