Laura Belle Kathryn Darwent

Laura Belle Kathryn Darwent, 85, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away at Ravenwood Terrace on December 27, 2020. Laura Belle was born November 11, 1935, to Frank and Loretta (Weggs) David in Moberly, Missouri. She married Walter Bentley Darwent. Laura Belle loved life and her family. She enjoyed bird watching and reading up on the different types of birds. She loved roses and being outside. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Bentley Darwent; daughter, Sandra Darwent; grandson, Michael Bonham; and son, Larry Darwent. Laura Belle is survived by her son, Kenneth (Lori) Darwent of Columbia, Missouri; daughters: Susan (David) Sharp of Sturgeon, Missouri, Sherry (David) Bonham of Moberly, Missouri, and Sheila Points of Moberly, Missouri; sisters: Mary Lou Minor of St. Peters, Missouri and Carol Kehoe of Springfield, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Ina Darwent of El Cajon, California; 22 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. A private family service will be held at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes with burial to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
