Richard Lewis Clark, 78, of Higbee passed away September 19, 2011 at his home in Higbee. Richard was born September 20, 1932 in Stover, MO to Dewey Edward and Annabelle (Woods) Clark. He was an inspector for Certainteed Corp in Kansas before retiring. He served in the Navy from 1951 until 1955. He attended the Liberty Church of Christ until moving to this area. he enjoyed fishing, going deer hunting, boating, playing pool, cards and chess. He liked to watch baseball especially the Royals and the Cardinals. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his family. On April 16, 1983 in Kansas City he married Lisa (Walker) Clark and she survives of the home. He is also survived by three sons Dennis and Mary Joan Clark or Richmond, Jeffery and Kim Clark of Blue Springs and David Clark of Fall City, Nebraska; five daughters Lisa Murray of Kansas City, Susie Clark of Higbee, Frances Ann Clark of Moberly, Becky Clark of Moberly and Vickie Sue Clark of Higbee; three brothers Herschel Clark of Moberly, Robert and Peggy Clark of Higbee and Donald and Karen Sue Clark of Higbee; two sisters Hazel Gordon of Moberly and Louise and Jody Perkins of Higbee; and nine grandchildren Christina and Casey Welch, Molly and Chris Murray, Faith Church, John Hosmer, Peyton Palmer, Priscilla Kanekoa and Malia Kanekoa. He was preceded in death by two brothers Charles and Freddie Clark. Services will be Thursday September 22, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Higbee. Burial will be at the Higbee City Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 12-2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
