Sue Ann Green

Sue Ann Green, 84, of Moberly, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Valley View Health & Rehabilitation in Moberly, Missouri. She was born to Vernon and Jean Opal (Murdy) Scruggs on February 15, 1932 in Joplin, Missouri. Sue was raised in West Plains, Missouri and moved during the late 80’s to Moberly be near her children. She enjoyed playing the piano and was able to play by ear. Sue was a member of the North Park Baptist Church in Moberly. She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon Scruggs; mother, Jean Opal Collins; husband Ivan H. Green; and grandson, Michael Johnson. Survivors include her sons: B. Bruce (Rita) Johnson of Cairo, Missouri, V. Franklin (Carol) Green of Moberly, Missouri, and Andrew V. Green of Ft. Collins, Colorado; grandchildren: Rebecca (Danny) Morrison of Fair Play, Missouri, Amanda (Zachary) Stamper of Moberly, Missouri, and Kyle Green of Moberly, Missouri; great grandchildren: Heather, Haley, Ellie, Hannah, Hayden, Wyatt, Tate, and Olivia; brother, Terry; sisters: Fern, Colleen, and June. A memorial service will be held at a later date in West Plains, Missouri. Cremation has been accorded by Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
