It's been a very long time since I last saw Susan, but I remember her and the others fondly. My first job was as a librarian assistant, working part time from my 16th birthday until I left for college. I worked there for almost four years with Susan, Patty, Paula, Nola, and Carol, during the time when the library was first bringing in the computer systems for checking out books. We were putting barcode stickers on all the books, getting new barcode library cards for everyone, and FINALLY getting rid of the paper cards used to track who checked out which books. Thinking back, helping to getting that library check out system up and running is one of the things that made me decide to work with computers, and I've been doing computer tech support for the last 24 years. I'll never forget those years at the library, or the women I worked with there. I am very sorry to hear of her passing, and extend my deepest sympathy and prayers to her family.
