Anna Griffith

Anna Griffith, 79, of Moberly, passed away March 23, 2019 at her home. Anna was born at Woodland Hospital in Moberly on September 19, 1939 to William Justus and Mary Prewitt Justus. Anna worked as a waitress at Skelly’s for many years, and it was there she met Walter Griffith, soon to be her husband. In later years she attended the Southern Randolph Christian Church in Higbee. She was the best cook ever and made a chocolate pie that nobody could match. Anna learned to knit from her mother-in-law and made many beautiful items and also found time to make multiple photo albums. Those preceding Anna in death are her son, Gene Lee Conklin; her parents, William and Mary Justus; four brothers, J. R. Sumpter, DeWayne, Bill and Eddie Justus. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband Walter; precious children, Bill Conklin Jr. (Sheryl) of Moberly, Belinda Bandfield (Tracy) of Moberly, Kae Bagby (Richard) of Monroe, N.C. and Tammi Bunch (Jess) of Columbia; ten grandchildren, multiple great-grandchildren; sisters Dora Dennis of Higbee and Laveda Mason (Alfred) of Quincy, IL, extended family and friends.
