Barbara Sue (Ornburn) Muehe, 79, of Renick, MO, passed away on November 5th 2021.

“Barb”, daughter of Gilbert and Doris Ornburn and loving wife of John Arthur Muehe, passed away at Boone Hospital in Columbia after a 3-week battle with COVID-19. She is survived by her husband, John, and her five children: Kent (Rhonda), Tracie (Brian), Annette (Mike), Kyle and Tara. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Tiffanie, Amanda, Heather (Brandon), Jennifer (Heath), Karl (Melissa), Jeremy, and Jagur and eight great grandchildren: Michael, Temperence, AJ, Eliana, Jaylynn, Connor, JeanLuc, and Logan; as well as her sister, Gayle (Terry) and brother, Rick (Michele).

Barb worked passionately as a certified resident aid for the elderly and handicapped, a profession she truly enjoyed, until her retirement. She had many hobbies, but her favorites were a love of travel and spending time with her family. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

Public visitation will be held at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home, 411 Union Avenue, Moberly, MO, on Tuesday, November 9th, from 3-4PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge, St. Louis, MO which provided her free lodging during her cancer treatment.
