Barbara Joan Sagner, 82, of Moberly, passed away February 13, 2019 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. She was born March 28, 1936 in Heyworth, IL to Raymond True and Irene “Wynn” True. Barb was a member of the First Christian Church in Heyworth. In 1955 she married John Henry Sagner in Ardmore, OK. John and Barb moved to the Moberly area in 1958. They left Missouri in 1971 and then returned in 1994. Barb enjoyed sewing and embroidering. She also liked to fish. Most of all, she loved to spoil her grandchildren. Barb had a great sense of humor and often referred to herself as a “corker”. Barb is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, and her brother, Donald True. Survivors include children, Cynthia (Gary) Bolles in Higbee, MO, Mona (Charles) Dolbeare of New Canton, IL and Joni (Neil) Arter of Edmond, OK; grandchildren, Morgan (Jamie) Rockett of Higbee, Matt (Kaila) Bolles of Clark, Barbara (Ian) Hamilton, Andrew (Ruth Phillips) Dolbeare and Matthew Dolbeare all of Barry, IL, Kathryn Dolbeare of New Canton, IL, Paige Arter and Gina Arter both of Edmond, OK; great grandchildren, Derek Rockett of Higbee, Kinley Bolles of Clark, Kiersten Rockett of Higbee, Britton Bolles of Clark, Liam Hamilton, Bailey Hamilton and Rachel Phillips all of Barry, IL; extended family and friends. Services celebrating Barb’s life will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions in Barb’s honor are suggested to the Higbee Senior Citizens Center, 205 Railroad St., Higbee, MO 65257.
