Betty JoAnn Spicer Webb, 81, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 19th, 2026. Betty was born April 12th, 1945, in Moberly, Missouri, to Ollie Clifton Spicer and Avery G. Spicer. While attending high school, she met the love of her life, Ronald Charles Webb. They were united in marriage on May 6, 1964.

She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church. Betty devoted herself to the most important job of being a stay-at-home mom and grandma. Prior to her husband’s death, she and Ron enjoyed restoring classic cars and participating in car shows. She enjoyed vacationing and traveling, loved attending her grandchildren’s events, and spending time with her family. Betty will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her faith, and the joy she found in sharing life with those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, Dewey (Dortha) Spicer, Roy Lee Spicer, Virgil (Peggy) Spicer, Donald (Rosalie) Spicer, and James (Betty) Spicer; her sisters, Lucille (James) Haggard, Dorothy (Bob) Payne, and Ann (Dale) Caylor; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Anna Lavena Webb.

Betty is survived by her two daughters, Tina (Roger) Gibler and Marsha (Stephen) Hargus; four grandchildren, Krystina (Dakota) Schleiermacher, Kelsie (Scott) Mason, Emily (Cameron) Newcomb, and Ryan Hargus; three great-grandchildren, Ellie, Hunter, and Addie Schleiermacher; another great-grandchild due in January; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Heritage Baptist Church, 1422 East McKinsey Street, Moberly, Missouri, on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the funeral service to follow at the church. A graveside service will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heritage Baptist Church to honor her memory.
