Beverly Jean Garnett

Beverly Jean Garnett, 82, of Moberly, MO passed away peacefully and got her wings on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Aspire Nursing home in Moberly, MO. Beverly was Born on March 9, 1943 in Moberly, MO, to Edward and Alberta Meeker. After Edwards unexpected passing, Alberta met Roy Palmatory, who was an important part of Beverly's life as well as her children's lives.

She worked at Loma Linda Nursing Home as an activities assistant for more than twelve years. Beverly loved the outdoors, and especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with her late husband Robert. She also enjoyed fun days out thrifting. 

Beverly is survived by her children, Jeannie Smith, Paula Edwards, and David (Kelli) Garnett all of Moberly, MO. She was a proud grandmother of Tyler (Kelsey) Garnett, Alex Pepin, David (Cindy) Clickner, Amanda Clickner, Kellie Dysart, Kyle Edwards, Chris Calicott and Jason Calicott as well as seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father; bonus dad, Roy Palmatory; husband, Robert Garnett; brothers, Ronald Meeker and LeRoy Risley; sisters, Wilma Teter and Pat Saragoosa. 

Visitation for Beverly will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Pathway Millard Family Funeral Chapel, 411 Union Avenue, Moberly, MO 65270.
