Carl E. Cunningham, 82, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026, with his lifelong partner, Anna Mae by his side.
Carl was born on January 17, 1944, in Salisbury, MO, to Lloyd Weldon Cunningham and Mary Louise (Wiseman) Cunningham. He graduated from Pilot Grove High School in 1962.
Carl spent most of his adult life working with tires, a job he truly enjoyed and took great pride in. He loved taking long car rides, spending time with his family, and visiting with anyone who stopped by. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help take care of those he loved, especially Anna Mae.
Carl will also be remembered for enjoying the simple things in life, including his favorite oatmeal cream pies, which always brought a smile to his face.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His kindness, caring nature, and the love he shared with others will be remembered always.
Carl is survived by his lifelong partner, Anna Mae Jackson of Moberly, MO; his sons, Tim (Sharon) Cunningham, of Moberly, MO, and Troy (Edith) Cunningham, of West Virginia; his daughter, Misty (Anson) Eskew, of Bellflower, MO; his sisters, Maxine (Boyd) Jordan, Joyce Rasmussen, and Linda Downs all of Moberly; grandchildren Christie Ford, Charity Harper, James Foote and Shyla Todd all of Moberly, MO, Bryan Ford of Grain Valley, MO, Kayla (John) Calkins of Overland Park, KS, Jacob Roberts, Tyler Cunningham, Rachel Todd of Troy, MO, Charles Eskew of Florida, and Kristopher Eskew of Bellflower; great grandchildren Alex Harper, Preston Harper, and Kinsey Calkins; as well as another great grandchild expected soon. He also leaves behind numerous bonus sons, bonus grandkids and bonus great grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leslie Cunningham.
Per his wishes there will not be a service.
