Carolyn Diane Toalson, age 58, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on July 24, 2026, in Moberly, Missouri.
Carolyn was born on February 5, 1968, in Moberly, Missouri, to Clinton (Dale) Clark and Viola (Brandow) Beamer. She graduated from Moberly High School in 1986.
Carolyn was well known throughout the community for her kind heart, willingness to help others, and her ability to leave smiles wherever she went. She found joy in the simple things in life—spending time outdoors, floating on the lake, sitting around a campfire, and admiring a star-filled night sky. Those who knew and loved her will always remember her remarkable talent for taking an occasional tumble without ever getting hurt, always getting back up laughing and making everyone around her laugh, too.
She is lovingly survived by her mother, Viola (Brandow) Beamer; her daughter, Kaylynn Starks; her son, Zachary Minor; her sisters, Laura (Marty) Sutlief and Bonita (James) Smith; her beloved grandchildren, Stella, Shawnee, and Liam Starks; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her grandparents, William “Bill” and Stella Brandow, Covert and Eva Jane Clark; and by her father, Clinton (Dale) Clark.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 3 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Brandow Campground. Family and friends are invited to come together to share memories, celebrate Carolyn’s life, and honor the joy and love she brought to so many.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel, 411 Union Avenue, Moberly, MO 65270 (660)263-7284. Condolences may be left online for the family at www. pathwaymemorial.com
