Charles E. Spotts

Charles E. Spotts, 80, of Higbee passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 1, 2017. Charles was born May 26, 1937 in Huntsville, Missouri to Baylor and Edith Pearl (Dameron) Spotts. He married Karen McWilliams and she preceded him in death in 2014. He worked for Orscheln Truck Line for over 30 years and then worked in the coal mines for many years as well. He enjoyed watching and rooting on the St. Louis Cardinals. Charles loved to spend time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his daughter, Mary Beth Spotts of Higbee, Missouri; grandson, Todd Maldonado of Higbee, Missouri; sister, Judy Griffin and husband Leonard of Branson, Missouri; great grandchildren: Brody and Brielee Maldonado; several nieces and nephews. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Higbee.
