Constance (Connie) Elaine Foster

Constance (Connie) Elaine Foster, age 75, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones.

Connie was a wonderful soul, known for her boundless generosity and the biggest heart — leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion that will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She was born on December 13, 1949, in Moberly, Missouri, to Charles and Patricia Griggs. She married Glenn Foster on August 21, 1981, who preceded her in death in 2020. Connie retired from the U.S. Census Bureau, where she worked for over 25 years.

Spending time with her family was her greatest joy. She cherished every moment, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever. Whether it was a simple family meal, making cookies with her grandchildren, a heartfelt conversation, or a joyful celebration, she made every occasion special with her presence.

Born and raised with a spirit of kindness, Connie dedicated her life to giving to others. She was an active member of the Moberly Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. Her generosity knew no bounds — whether helping family, friends, or strangers in need. Her acts of kindness were countless, and her impact immeasurable. Throughout her life, Connie embodied the true essence of selflessness. Her warmth and caring nature touched the lives of everyone she met, making the world a better place for those fortunate enough to know her.

Connie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, and her sister.

She is survived by her loving children: Charles Twyman of Moberly, MO; Dennis (Linda) Twyman of Camdenton, MO; Lisa (Kevin) Bagley of Aurora, CO; Julie Foster of Florida; daughter-in-law Amanda Foster of Moberly, MO; brother Conrad (Bonnee) Griggs of Springfield, MO; sister Carolyn Lamberson of Moberly, MO; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, July 27, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Aerie 2669) in Moberly, where family and friends will gather to share memories and honor the incredible woman she was.

A family led graveside service will take place on Monday, July 28, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri.

Though she is no longer with us, her spirit, and the love she shared will forever live on in our hearts.

May her soul rest in peace and may we all strive to live with the same kindness and grace that Connie shared with the world.
