Dalton Joe Bradley

Dalton Joe Bradley, age 23, of Clark, MO, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Friday, May 5, 2023, after a tragic and unfortunate accident.

Dalton was born August 23, 1999, to Stephen J. Bradley and Carla J. (Robinson) Bradley.  He married his high school sweetheart, Jacie N. (Robinson) Bradley on June 25, 2022, after over 5 years of being together.  In true Dalton fashion, he unselfishly chose to donate his organs and has already been able to help many families.

From the age of 5 on, Dalton dreamed of being a logger. Dressing up for Halloween and cutting down trees with his toy chainsaw any chance he got. Dalton learned from a very young age that hard work, honesty, and a firm handshake would get him a long way in life.  He put this lesson into practice and at a very young age started working with just a lawnmower and weed eater.  Later he moved up to a tractor and brush hog doing farm work.  He loved to help both grandpas no matter what the work was.  After high school, at the age of 20, Dalton bought his first home in Paris, MO and started working for MODOT.  At the age of 21, Dalton was finally able to fulfill his lifelong dream of owning and operating his own logging business.  He was even more thrilled to get to work every day alongside his dad.  Due to Dalton’s hardwork, kindness, empathy, and personality his business thrived and became more successful in such a short amount of time than he could have ever dreamed.  Throughout his entire working career, Dalton made some of his best memories and dearest friends.

Dalton was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors. Any chance he got he was in the woods hunting or fishing.  Not only did he enjoy these things on his own, but found so much joy in sharing this love of his with his family and friends.

Dalton’s favorite pastime was spending quality time with his family and friends.  Two of his favorite people, and the only two people who could get him to shut down work early, were his nephews Gabe and Kit. He also loved to get together with his wife’s family on Friday nights for karaoke. Even with working with his dad and living next door to his parents, if Dalton was not at work or spending time with his wife, he was at their house.  He could never get enough of his family.  Dalton would never back down from hard work or a chance to drink a cold beer with his friends.

Dalton is survived by his wife, Jacie of Clark; his parents, Stephen and Carla of Clark; sister and brother-in-law, Mackenzie (Bradley) Nordwald and Austin Nordwald of Paris; grandmother, Bonny J. Bradley of Clark; grandmother, Patty L. Parrish of Paris; grandfather, James C. Robinson of Millersburg; father and mother-in-law, Derick and Brandi Robinson of Sturgeon; sister-in-law, Delaney Robinson of Sturgeon; two nephews, Gabriel and Kit Nordwald of Paris; three uncles; three aunts; eight cousins; extended family and many close friends.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Bennie L. Bradley; grandpa, William “Bill” N. Parrish and one aunt, Bonnie Lee Bradley.

In Dalton’s short life he touched many lives and will be missed by all. The world was a much better place when Dalton was here, but heaven has gained the greatest angel!
