Darleen Ruth Snowden Snow, 66, of Moberly, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at her home. Darleen was born on April 27, 1950 to Dale and Eileen Michell Snowden in Cadillac, Michigan. On May 21, 1972 she married David Lee Snow. In 1981 they relocated to Moberly to work at MRMC. She was a nurse in the MRMC Emergency Room for 35 years. She really enjoyed her job having a knack for making people feel better. Darleen was a member of the Moberly Seventh-Day Adventist Church Darleen was an animal lover. Christmas was her favorite holiday and every year she couldn’t wait to start celebrating. She also enjoyed traveling, and with her collection of Atlas’s, she did a lot of traveling from her recliner. Darleen loved spending time with her family and friends but especially with her only grandson Devin. They spent many happy hours together. Those preceding her in death are her parents, Dale and Eileen Snowden and her sister-in-law, Sandra Snowden. Survivors include her husband, David Lee Snow, of Moberly, MO; her children, D. J and Melissa Snow of Moberly, MO and Krista Snow of Kirksville, MO; beloved grandson, Devin Snow of Moberly, Mo, siblings, Robert D. Snowden and Bill Snowden both of Golden, CO and Sharleen and Ward Childers of Moberly, Mo, extended family and many close friends. A memorial service celebrating Darleen’s life will be held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Moberly, MO. Family and friends will gather for visitation the same evening from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of the flowers the family suggests donations to Mr. and Mrs. Booth c/o of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church School, 1410 E. McKinsey St., Moberly, MO 65270.
