Delbert Lee Acton

Delbert Lee Acton, age 63, of Columbia, MO, passed away on January 5, 2023, at his home in Salisbury, MO.

Delbert was born on March 8, 1959, in Columbia, MO, to Wilfred and Edna (Campbell) Acton.

Delbert enjoyed arrowhead hunting and tinkering with things. He was always looking for unique coins to add to his collection. His family and friends will always remember his willingness to use his God-Given talents to help someone in need.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Edna Acton; brothers, Wilbur and Billy Acton; sister, Virginia Luke; daughter, Casey Howe-Skaggs; and granddaughter Leaha Skaggs.

Delbert is survived by his children, Weldon Acton, Columbia, MO, Harriet Dashaw-Acton, Jefferson City, MO, Valerie Nauerth-Acton, Salisbury, MO, Jeffery Skaggs, Columbia, MO, Kelsey Warren-Skaggs, Columbia, MO, Jessica Peterson-Skaggs, Columbia, MO; siblings, Marilyn Brown, Salisbury, MO, Gloria Nichols, Jacksonville, MO; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and close friends.

A memorial service celebrating Delbert’s life has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Mount Salem Cemetery, North of Jacksonville, MO. Visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 pm on the day of the service.
