Donna M. Palmgren

Donna Wilson Palmgren, 68, of Excello, Mo., passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 3, 2021. Donna was born in Winston-Salem, NC on January 3, 1953, to Margaret (Manring) Wilson and Harold E. Wilson. She graduated from Higbee High School in 1971, and attended business travel school in Minneapolis, MN. Donna always had a bright, beautiful smile for everyone she encountered. This smile, along with her loving commitment to improving the lives of others, made her a valuable asset to many of the area nursing homes where she worked as a nurse’s aide for several years. One of Donna’s greatest pleasures in life was singing and playing music with friends and family - and one in which she was very talented. She was a long time member of Higbee United Methodist Church where she often served as pianist. Donna devoted her life to the Lord, her family, and serving others. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. Donna is survived by her husband, Roger Palmgren; mother, Margaret Wilson of Moberly; daughter and husband, Molly Willis and Roy of Maine, NY; son and fiancée, Jason Ulrick and Carmen Miles of Centralia; six grandchildren, Justin Ulrick, Hannah Nichols, Kayleigh Nichols, April Nichols, Samuel Nichols, and Wyatt Willis. She is preceded in death by her father, Harold Wilson and her brother, Harold (Hal) Wilson, Jr. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.at Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
