Dora Florence Mize

Dora Florence Mize, 88 of Higbee, Missouri, passed away Friday March 18, 2011 at her daughters home in Higbee, Missouri. She was born October 24, 1922 at Roakoke, Missouri to George W. and Anna B. Mozier Fariss. She married Dudley Brown in 1939 and had one son, Edward Lee Brown of Jefferson City, formerly of Huntsville, Mo. She married John Chandler Mize in 1947. They had one son, John Chandler Mize, Jr. She is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands and one son, John Mize Jr. One sister, Katherine Noonan and one son-in-law Henry Gene Longbine. Survivors include one son, Edward Brown and wife Claire, one daughter, Mary Longbine, six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren, and a special friend, Charles Moore and three special nieces and several family and friends.
