Dysart “Dykie” Eugene Wilson, 57, of Moberly, passed away at his home Sunday, October 11, 2015. Dysart was born August 13, 1958 in Moberly to James Eugene Wilson and Billie Janelle Hutton. He was a lifelong resident of Huntsville and a graduate of Westran High School. On September 10, 1994 he married Tracy Ann O’Brink, who survives of the home. Dysart worked as a laundry supervisor for the Moberly Correctional Center. He had also worked at Midwest Linen for twenty-two years. Dysart enjoyed working and took pride in it. He loved watching Cardinals baseball and the Mizzou Tigers. He was a member of the Jefferson Avenue United Methodist Church. Dysart had a great sense of humor; he loved making people laugh and enjoyed helping people. Listening to rock music was one of his favorite pastimes, and he especially liked the Beatles. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother Randy Wilson (Jodi) of Yates, MO and sister Sherry Chung of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his children, Paul George of Moberly, Matthew George of Huntsville, Shelby Wilson and Marly Wilson both of Huntsville; grandchildren, Nash and Charleigh George both of Moberly. A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church in Moberly at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to a Memorial Fund which has been established at Central Bank and Trust in Moberly. Condolences may be expressed online by “lighting a lantern” at www.pathwaymemorial.com. Pathway Memorial Funeral Home has assisted with arrangements.
