Edgar Justus

Edgar Leroy Justus, 73, of Moberly, passed away October 31, 2016 at his home. Edgar was the son of William Justus and Mary Prewitt Justus, born October 27, 1943 in Moberly, MO. Edgar has lived in the Moberly area since 1996. In 2007 he married Cathy Wright in Moberly and she survives of the home. For many years he worked at Speed Rack in Quincy, IL. He enjoyed going to garage sales, fishing and traveling. A favorite destination was Silver Dollar City in Branson. Those preceding him in death are his first wife, Lily Mae Boardman Justus; son, Bob Lee Justus; step-son, Roger “Louie” Christy; granddaughter, Angel; both parents, three brothers and a sister. Edgar is survived by his siblings, Anna Mae Griffith (Daniel) of Moberly, Laveda Mason (Alfred) of Quincy, IL, Dora Dennis of Higbee; children, Jackie Justus of Moberly, Beth Powell (Terry) of Quincy, Jennifer Ehrett (Keith), Moberly, Alex Painter, Columbia, Adam Gregory, Ohio, Justin Hawkins (Amanda) Quincy, Shelly Smith (Bobby), Higbee, Becky Clark (Danny) Higbee; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Services for Edgar will be Friday, November 4, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly. Visitation will be from 11:00a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family C/O Cathy Justus, 418 N. Moulton, Moberly, MO.
