Ernest Clinton Crosswhite

Ernest Clinton Crosswhite, 65, of Moberly went home to the Lord on December 2, 2021. He had been staying at Pin Oaks Living Center in Mexico, MO.

E.C. was born on July 5, 1956 in Moberly to Ernest Brown Crosswhite and Florence Marie Featherston Crosswhite. He was a graduate of Moberly High School and in 1988 he married Diane Chaloupka.

E. C. was a great cook and hard worker, many will remember him from Kentucky Fried Chicken, Long John Silver and Pizza Hut.

He was a very generous and social person who loved to have conservations, listen to music and dance. E. C. also enjoyed singing and telling stories from his past. He liked to clean, rearrange things and organize them. E. C. was very kind hearted. He loved jamming out to his favorite music and spending time with his family and friends. E.C. will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He will remain forever in their hearts until they meet again.

E.C. is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Florence Crosswhite; sisters, Mary White, Ramona Boulware and Marilynn Crosswhite and nephews, Danny McCreery and Matt Crosswhite.

He is survived by his son, Justin Crosswhite and daughter, Shawna Crosswhite both of Moberly; grandson, Rylan Hildreth of Moberly; brother, Steven Wayne Crosswhite and wife Carol of Sturgeon; nieces, Stacy Davidson, Dana McCreery, Donna Yates, Mary Pool, Julie Hunt and Jennifer Campbell; nephews, Darren McCreery and Ryan Boulware; extended family and many close friends, including, Michael Ferrel, Diane Haley and Rhonda Stanturf.

E.C.’s untimely passing has left his family with unexpected expenses. They deeply appreciate everyone’s support during this difficult time. Any donations are greatly appreciated and all proceeds will go toward funeral costs and final expenses.
