Ernest Tine Gillispie Jr.

Ernest Tine Gillispie Jr. 85 of Moberly passed away Friday January 7, 2011 at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Ernest was born June 18, 1925, in Moberly to Ernest Tine and Pearle Levita (Bloss) Gillispie Sr. Mr. Gillispie was a sanitation supervisor for the City of Moberly before retiring. On June 9, 1967, in Moberly he married Lillian Elizabeth Gillispie and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2007. Mr. Gillispie is survived by two sons, John Gillispie of Moberly and Donald Diane Gillispie of Higbee; two step-sons John and Lynn Morgan of Clark and Russell and Debbie Morgan of Moberly; one daughter Terriel Bernard of St. Joseph; one step-daughter Ruth Elizabeth Coffelt of Moberly; one sister JoAnn Sander of Macon; 23 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one son, one step-son, one daughter and one grandson. Services will be Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Entombment will be at the Resurrection Mausoleum at Oakland Cemetery.
