Evelyn Fay Hulen
Evelyn Fay Hulen, age 89, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on July 17, 2022 at Boone Hospital.
Evelyn was born October 9, 1932 to Cecil Benjamin and Era Meta Rifenberg. She was educated in Moberly and attended Moberly Public Schools.
Evelyn worked various jobs through her young life including at the local Movie Theater, Woolworths, and as a dental assistant for Dr. Rychnovsky for several years before becoming a homemaker, and raising her daughter.
Evelyn married C.F. Hulen on July 14, 1954 in Moberly, MO. Evelyn was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her daughter and her grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved being a grandma. She also enjoyed gardening, crafts, flower arranging, cookbooks, and playing games. Most of all she loved her family and instilled in her daughter strong values that has served her well. She will be dearly missed and be forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.F., her parents, her sister Dorothy, brother Gordon (Buddy), infant brother Donald and infant sister Doris, and brother-in-law JC Ridgway.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Carol (Jason) Milhollin of Moberly, MO, grandchildren Taylor Gallatin, Sophia Milhollin, and Liam Milhollin, her sister Lila (David) Downing and twin sister, Ethelyn Ridgway, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service celebrating Evelyn’s life has been scheduled for Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10:00 am at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO with interment at Missouri State Veteran’s Cemetery at Jacksonville, MO. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 pm at Pathway-Millard, Moberly, MO
