Flora Ellen Koester

Flora Ellen Koester, 83, of Gravois Mills, Missouri passed away Saturday May 28, 2011 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri. She was born December 30, 1927 to Oscar and Frankie Hill Young at LaPlata, Missouri. She married Lloyd Koester May 29, 1954 and he preceded her in 1984. She was a member of the Cairo Christian Church and a over fifty year member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Cairo. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in Hospitals and Nursing Homes. She is survived by one daughter, Susan Halley of Gravois Mills, Missouri and she is also preceded by her parents, four brothers and one sister. Services are at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday May 31, 2011 at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly with Visitation from 12:00 noon until 2:00 P.M. and Burial will be at the Grand Prairie Cemetery North of Cairo, Missouri. Memorials are suggested to the Family.
