Frances Grace Burton

Frances G. (Rasmussen) Burton, 84, of Moberly went peacefully to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO.

Frances was born on May 14, 1941 to Chester and Ruth Rasmussen. She graduated from Salisbury MO high school. She married John R Burton on June 19, 1959. She was a member of Timberlake Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 brothers, Carl and Lawrence Rasmussen, a son in law William Houston and a great granddaughter Brooklynn Cort.

Frances will be remembered for her love of the Lord and making people laugh. Her last months she resided at Mark Twain Assisted living where she had many friends.

She is survived by daughters Deborah Houston of Columbia MO and Anita Featherkile (David) of Salida CO., 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Private services for the family will be at a later date.
