Geraldine "Gerri" Marie Hill

Geraldine ‘Gerri’ Hill (Sumpter), 47, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away surrounded by family on June 2, 2023, at The University of Kansas Medical Center.

Gerri was born on January 18, 1976, to Bill and Geraldine Sumpter (Guthrie) in Columbia, Missouri.

She Married Jeff ‘Nelson’ Hill on July 8, 1994, in Moberly, Missouri.

Gerri enjoyed camping, fishing, floating in her pool, crafting and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Kolton Hill; parents, Bill and Geraldine Sumpter; siblings, David, Andrea, Jerry, Kay and Linda.

Gerri is survived by her husband, Jeff Nelson Hill; two children, Kierra Hill and Kameron (Jessica Teter) Hill; seven grandchildren, Ayden, Ryan, Ethan, Hudson, Tatum, Maverick and Hadley; siblings, David, Barbara, Penny, Rhonda, Mary Ann, Patty, Bobby and Bonnie; sisters-in-heart, Pat, Tammy, Daylynn, Queenceilla and Wendy; extended family and many close friends.

A visitation celebrating Gerri’s life will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Pathway- Millard Family Funeral Chapel in Moberly, MO. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery in Moberly, MO.
