Glen Ray Loudermilk, 92, of Moberly, passed away suddenly and peacefully on Monday, May 1st, 2017 at Meadow Ridge Estates at sunset (8:15 p.m.). Glen was born to Larkin and Mayme (Clift) Loudermilk on Sept 24th, 1924, in Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma. He married Bonnie Louise Sears on July 3, 1944. During his life he raised and provided for his family, often working multiple jobs including the U.S. Postal Service for over thirty years; served in several capacities for the church including membership with the United Methodist Men and Sunday School teacher at Trinity UMC; and served in the Boy Scouts of America as Scout Master for many, many years. He also volunteered at Moberly Regional Medical Center for over a decade. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, his parents and one sibling, Alma who died during childhood. Survivors include his children; Glenda Analla of Overland Park, KS., Don Loudermilk and his wife Holly of Leawood, KS., and Wanda Pollard of Moberly; grandchildren Heather Copeland, Monica Hochberg, Dawn Renee Dressel, Isreal Pollard of Moberly, Abby Baker, Scott Silverman, and Mitchel Loudermilk; great grandchildren Justin Pinckard, Andrea Krispin, Tre’ Pollard, Bryn Montry, Gabriel Hochberg, Mason Bivins, Macee Fidler, Addison Pollard, and Olivia, Avery and Hank Baker; great-great grandchildren Waylon Krispin and Owen Pinckard; his three surviving sisters-in-law Joyce Villena of Callao, MO., Judy Hinkle of Salisbury, MO. and Sherrill Sears of Nixa, MO; and several nieces and nephews and their families. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 4th, 2017, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home in Moberly, MO. Memorial services held the following day (May 5th, 2017) at Trinity United Methodist Church in Moberly, MO at 11 a.m. All are welcomed and invited by the family to celebrate and honor his life. Memorial contributions in Glen’s honor are appreciated to the Boy Scouts of America, National Council, 1325 West Walnut, Irving, TX 75015.
