Glenda Breid

Glenda Kay Breid, age 74, of Madison passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 while with family after a battle with cancer. Glenda was born on April 2, 1942 in Moberly to Glenn and Harriette (Herrin) Pierce. She graduated from Madison Schools. On June 12, 1960 she married Paul D Breid in Moberly. He survives of the home. Glenda worked for several years for Gates Energy in Paris and at A.B. Chance Company in Centralia. Later, she worked until retirement at Stage Stores in Moberly. Her family and friends will remember her for being fiercely loyal to her family. Taking care of her “boys” (Pauly and kids) was her first priority. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, baby Glenn Dale Pierce, Ronald Pierce (Patsy) of Madison, and David Pierce. Her only sister, Sandra Skaggs of Moberly, survives. Glenda is also survived by her three sons, David Wayne Breid (Tammy Kay) of Madison, Ricky Don Breid (Rita Kay) of Paris, and Steven Lee Breid of Lexington, Missouri; Grandchildren Lauren Woods of Huntsville, Chase Breid (Stevie) of Madison, Katelyn and Ryan Breid of Paris, and Kaytin and Jackson Breid of Lexington, Missouri; Great Grandchild Kinslee Marie Woods of Huntsville; and several nieces and nephews.
