Harold Dawson

Harold Dawson, 78, of Holliday, passed away at the University of Missouri Hospital on July 2, 2018. Harold was born December 26, 1939 in Triplett, MO to William Hamilton Dawson and Viola Mae Pennington Dawson. On February 8, 1961 he was united in marriage to Martha Smith in Carrollton, MO. Harold had lived in Moberly from 1970 until 1995 when he moved to the farm in Holliday. He loved restoring classic cars and building things. He was a member of the Mid Mo Cruisers car club. His family states there wasn’t much he couldn’t do. He worked as a carpenter for many years. Harold is preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Wilma Shelton, Christine Baldridge, Donald Dawson and Gerald Dawson. He is survived by his children, Kathy Dawson Yohe of Holliday, Mike (Tracy) Dawson of Holliday, and John (Stephanie) Dawson of St. Louis; grandchildren, Cody Dawson of Denver, CO, Weston Dawson of Holliday, Jacob and Gavin Dawson both of St. Louis; sister Martha (Jackie) Stark of Mendon, MO, extended family and friends. Services for Harold will be held Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at the Bethel Cemetery in Holliday.
