Harold Riley Redifer

Harold “Riley” Redifer, 65, of Moberly, MO, unexpectedly transitioned from this life on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, while in his home at the farm.

Harold Riley Redifer was born on May 26, 1960, to Harold Dean and Mary Ellen (Haley) Redifer. He was employed for several years at Mid-Am and Scholastic. He was an avid conservationist and loved animals as much as they loved him. He was known to have many different pets, most memorable his pet owl, and lastly, his longtime canine companion, “Fancy”. Riley loved to collect many different things. He also loved music and writing poetry.

He will always be remembered for his fun loving, wild spirit, loyalty and generosity.

Riley was preceded in death by his long-time love, Linda Cavdle; mother, Mary Ellen Redifer; sister, Mary Jo Ware; and step-son, John Clardy.

He is survived by his brother, John Redifer (Denie Langerod); sister, Deana Twyman; grandson, Daniel Clardy, all of Moberly, MO; life-long best friend, George Suter, of Columbia, MO; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends; and Uncle Bill (Shirley) Haley, of Cheyenne, WY.

A service celebrating Riley’s life will be held at a later date per family’s request.
