James Michael Briscoe, 65, of Moberly, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Brunswick Nursing and Rehab in Brunswick, MO.

Jimmy was born on August 27, 1960, to Barbara (Harlan) Ronimous and Larry Briscoe. He attended Moberly High School and later received his GED. He enjoyed classic rock music and spending time with family. His family and friends will always remember him for his smile and laugh.

He is preceded in death by his father, mother, and older brother, Olan Briscoe.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Kyler Bennett, of Moberly, MO; his brother, Thomas (Becky) Harrison, of Huntsville, MO; sister, Barbara (Jacob) Pope, of Portland, OR; sister, Debbie Wilson (Bob Hughes), of Cold Water, MO; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Jimmy to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.

A Memorial Service celebrating Jimmy’s life has been scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Family Life Fellowship in Moberly, MO.
