It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Thomas Redifer, who left this world on October 14, 2025 at 3:30 a.m. surrounded by the love of his family. John was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose warmth, humor, and larger-than-life personality touched everyone who knew him. He was the proud father of Tommy, Tammy, Jon Travis, and Jacob, who will forever carry his love and spirit in their hearts. Born on June 23rd 1959, John lived a full and vibrant life. He had a passion for fishing, and he found peace and joy by the water. He was known for being the life of the party—always ready with a story, a laugh, or a helping hand. John had a special gift for bringing people together and making everyone feel welcome wherever he went.
John shared his life and heart with his longtime best friend and love, Denie Langerud, whose companionship and devotion brought him endless happiness. Together, they created countless cherished memories filled with laughter and love.
He is survived by his children : Tommy, Tammy, Jon Travis, and Jacob , along with His sister Deana Rene Twyman, his 7 grandchildren: Jon Trace, Keetun, Kenyona, Kaitlyn, Spencer, Josie and Penelope. John shared a very close bond with his nieces and nephews : James, Mary Dawn, Amber Ellen, Christy, and Sarah — who loved him dearly. He was preceded in death by both parents Harold Dean & Mary Redifer, one brother Riley Redifer and one sister Mary Jo (Jodi).
John had so many friends & family that he brought joy to daily. He will be remembered for his big heart, his laughter, and his unwavering loyalty. John lived life fully, loved deeply, and left lasting memories with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A celebration of John’s life will be held Saturday October 25th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. with a visitation being held from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Pathway Millard Funeral home, Moberly MO. Family and friends are invited to come together, share stories, and honor the incredible man who filled so many hearts with laughter and love. John will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in every smile, every story, and every heart that he touched.
