Kathy Diane Neal

Kathy Diane Neal, age 71, of Moberly, MO, passed away surrounded by family on November 17, 2023, at Boone Hospital Center, Columbia, MO.  Kathy was born on April 13, 1952, in Moberly, MO, to Vernon “Jesse” and Dorothy Kirkendoll.

She married Steve Neal on April 25, 1969, in Huntsville, MO.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, playing bingo, watching her hummingbirds, baking, visiting with friends, and sewing.  She adored her grandkids and great-grandchildren and always put her family first.  Her family will always remember her pumpkin rolls and time spent around the kitchen table.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Steven Neal; parents, Vernon “Jesse” Kirkendoll and Dorothy Kirkendoll; sisters, Shirley Jean Kirkendoll and Sandra “Gale” Hackett; brother-in-law Robert “Snuffy” Smith; nephews Stacey Smith and Trent Hacket.

Kathy is survived by her sons, Scott (Sheri) Neal, of Renick, MO, and Keith (Jocelyn) Neal, of Cairo, MO; grandchildren Courtney (Derek) Mutter, of Jacksonville, MO, Katelin (Tyler) Boots, of Moberly, MO, Jordon (Sierra) Neal, of Jacksonville, NC, and Dakota (Kimberly) Neal, of Moberly, MO; great-grandchildren Cooper and Amillia Longdon, of Jacksonville, MO, Travis, Bailey and Trevor Boots, of Moberly, MO, Lily Neal, of Jacksonville, NC, Teagan, Layla, Lexi, and Porter Neal, of Moberly, MO; brother, Dale (Ellen) Kirkendoll, of Moberly, MO, and sister-in-law, Sherry Smith, of Clark, MO as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service celebrating Kathy’s life has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at Pathway Millard Family Chapel, Moberly, MO, with Interment to follow at Clifton Hill Cemetery in Clifton Hill, MO.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Pathway Millard Family Chapel, Moberly, MO.
