Kerry Burkett, 75, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 8, 1950, in Springfield, Illinois, to Clarence and Vera Gay Siebuhr. Kerry lived a life defined by compassion, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to those she held dear.
On January 2, 1970, Kerry married Donald Burkett in a beautiful ceremony at West Park United Methodist Church, beginning a lifelong partnership. Kerry graduated from Moberly Area Community College in 1993 and embarked on a fulfilling career as a Registered Nurse. Known for her passion for caregiving, she touched countless lives through her work with the elderly and disabled in the Moberly community. Her kindness and gentle spirit left a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues alike.
At home, Kerry found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who brought light to her days. An avid gardener, she nurtured her plants with the same care she gave to those around her. Kerry also loved cooking, filling her home with warmth and the comforting aromas of her favorite recipes.
Kerry will be remembered for her kindness, her devotion to her family and friends, and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy of care and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving family and many dear friends. No services are scheduled at this time.
