Larry Ray Jackson Jr. 56 passed away on October 18, 2025, in Huntsville, Missouri surrounded by his family and friends. Larry was born to Sharon (Coleman) and Larry Jackson Sr. on August 5, 1969 in Linton, Indiana.

Larry graduated from Moberly Senior High School in 1987, where he laid the foundation for a hardworking and dedicated life. He was a machine operator at Oscar Meyer and Orschelns for over 10 years where he also attained role of supervisor.

Larry was a true family man who loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed shooting bows, guns, and spent many cherished moments duck hunting, goose hunting, and deer hunting. Fishing was also his favorite pastime, along with playing cards with friends, participating in bowling leagues, where he bowled several perfect games, and golfing. Throughout his life, he was known for his humorous spirit, always ready to joke around and make others smile.

Larry was a good brother, son, dad, and friend. He stayed strong and positive through his cancer diagnosis, inspiring those around him. He had a special passion for sharing his knowledge of hunting and fishing with the younger generation, teaching them skills that he loved.

He was an active member of the NOMO Bowhunting Club and the Eagles Club, always engaging in social activities and connecting with others in his community.

Larry is survived by his father, Larry Jackson Sr. of Moberly, Missouri; his son, Larry (Kimberly) Jackson III of Armstrong, Missouri; his daughter, Kerriann (Blake) Morris of Armstrong, Missouri; and his daughter, Madison, of Iowa. Sisters; Shelly Tipton (Melvin) of Keytesville, Missouri and Sherri Watson of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri; Brother, David Caddell of Moberly, Missouri, grandchildren; Karleigh White, Makenna Morris, Liam Jackson, Jaran Cross, and Colten Cross, all of Armstrong, Missouri. Also survived by extended family and many close friends; Rusty Wunderlich, Dale Thornton, Spencer Barron, Don and Kathy Zeller, Bob Sparkman and Scott Baker (Skeeter).

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon (Coleman) Jackson; his grandmother, Anna Mae (Royer) Jackson; his grandfather, Samuel Jackson; his brother, Hollis Jackson.

Larry will be dearly missed by his family and friends, who will always remember his laughter, love, and the cherished memories they shared together.

There will be a Celebration of Life held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 2 p.m., at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge on 1408 N. Morley, Moberly, MO.
