Lynda L. Bennett

Lynda Lee Bennett, age 74, of Huntsville, MO, passed away on September 6, 2022, at Moberly Regional Medical Center, Moberly, MO surrounded by family.

Lynda was born on March 11, 1948, in Richmond, MO, to Nelly Rush. She married James Bennett on July 23, 1993, in Moberly, MO.

She enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, being a homemaker and loved to exercise. Her family and friends will always remember her great fashion skills and her home cooking. She loved to spend time with family and friends. Our grandma loved to sew, play board games, and sharp shooters.

Lynda is preceded in death by her beloved son Terry Linton II, Donna Crawford, Patricia Higdon, Roberta, Shirley Heitman, and Charles Denver Houston.

Lynda is survived by her husband, James Bennett, of Huntsville, MO, her children, Tabatha (Bryan) Bennett of Columbia, MO, and Chad McGinnis, Moberly, MO. Eleven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, brother, Stephen (Judith) Ovens, Jefferson City, MO, brother-in-law, Lester Heitman, Independence, MO, numerous aunts and uncles, and many close friends.

A funeral service celebrating Lynda’s life has been scheduled for Friday, September 9, 2022, at 2:00 pm, at Pathway-Millard Family Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
