Lynne M Richmond

Lynne Richmond, 63, of Moberly, MO, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at her home.

Lynne was born on December 17, 1961, in Mexico, MO, to Thomas and Helen (Michael) McDannold. She was united in marriage to James Richmond on July 26, 1987, at Southside Baptist Church in Vandalia, MO.

Lynne graduated from Vandalia High School Class of 1980 and went on to further her education at Moberly Area Community College. She worked at Moberly Regional Medical Center in Accounts Payable where she retired in 2011.

Some of Lynne’s happies days were spent fishing and camping with family, attending country music concerts, and going on family vacations. Lynne’s creativity shone brightly in her craft work by designing handmade treasure. She greatly enjoyed working the craft show booths alongside family and friends. She dedicated time and energy to arranging fundraising events for the Multiple Sclerosis Society in hopes for a cure for future generations. Lynne was a faithful member of Sweet Springs Baptist Church of Huntsville for 28 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister.

Lynne is survived by her husband, James Richmond, of Moberly; son, Eric Carr, of Miami, TX: daughters, Haley Richmond, of Denver, CO and Kelsey (Douglas) Sullivan, of Cleburne, TX; grandsons, Tyler (Ashley() Richmond and Eason Carr; granddaughter, Hannah Carr, Emelia Sullivan, and Chloe Sullivan; and great-granddaughters, Hazel and Teagan Richmond.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sweet Springs Baptist Church.

Family led services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Sweet Springs Baptist Church of Huntsville, MO, with visitation from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. and the funeral starting at 1:00 p.m.
