Magen M.D. Elliott

Magen “Meggie” M.D. Elliott, 36, of Huntsville, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on August 16, 2026.

Meggie was born on February 13, 1990, to Sue Wilson (Asher) and Duane Elliott. She attended Moberly High School and Higbee Schools.

Meggie had a fun sense of humor and a personality all her own. She enjoyed shopping, watching true crime shows, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a special love for animals, especially her beloved pug, Gigit, who was often the lucky recipient of Meggie’s shopping trips as well.

Family held a special place in Meggie’s heart. She loved watching her family grow through the years and especially treasured her nieces and nephews. Meggie was also blessed with a wonderful stepfather, J.R. Wilson, with whom she resided.

Those who knew Meggie will remember her for the love she had for her family and friends, her strength, her fun sense of humor, and, of course, her signature sassy and stubborn spirit. She leaves behind many memories that will be cherished by those who loved her.

Meggie is survived by her stepfather, J.R. Wilson; her brother, Deven Elliott of Moberly, MO; her sister’s, Christina Meline of Moberly, MO, and Amanda Hamlin of Columbia, MO; four nieces; six nephews; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Sue Wilson; her father, Duane Ellott; her grandfather, Ed Asher; her grandmother, Hazel Ahser; and several beloved aunts and uncles.

Meggie will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

A funeral service celebrating Magen’s life has been scheduled for Monday, August 24, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at Pathway Millard Family Funeral Chapel, 411 Union Ave, Moberly, MO, 65270. Visitation will be held at the Funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Oakland, Cemetery, Moberly, Missouri.
