Margaret “Meg” C. (Kasten) Sexton, 60, of Moberly, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2025. She was born August 1, 1964, in St. Louis to her loving adopted parents Melvin C. and Mary C. (Critchlow) Kasten.
She graduated from Cape Central High School in 1982 and attended 1yr Southwest Baptist University. Later moved to Troy, Missouri and raised her family for many years before recently moving to Moberly, Missouri.
Meg leaves behind her daughter Emma G. Sexton (Joshua Kile) of Perryville, MO brothers: Mark C. (Lois) Kasten of Chaffee, MO, Mike C. (Priscilla) Kasten of Cape Girardeau, MO, stepchildren: Terry (Rachel) Sexton, Jr. of Moscow Mills, Missouri, Christina (Philly) Rineer of Imperial, Missouri and Heather (Shane) Parker of Scott City, Missouri. Step-grandchildren: Terry III and Allison Sexton, Libby Wulfers, Scarlett and Paxton Parker and Greyson Rineer. Nephew Benjamin Kasten, and nieces Heather Angelle, Caroline Kasten and Drew Kasten.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Meg never met a stranger. She loved her family endlessly. Meg enjoyed sports, especially watching her daughter in softball and track & field through high school and on the college level, she was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Blues sports teams. She enjoyed fishing and hanging out with her family and friends. Meg will be missed by many family and friends who loved her.
A celebration of life will be 9:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, June 21, 2025, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. A lunch will follow the service, with a social time immediately after.
A private burial will be at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau at a later date.
