Marie Elizabeth Lewis

Marie Elizabeth Lewis, 78, of Moberly passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Moberly Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. Marie was born on December 13, 1937 to Clemont and Grace (Jacoby) Griffin. Marie and Ronald Lewis were married on June 6, 1958. Ronald and Marie owned and operated Lewis Furniture for many years. Marie also previously worked for McGraw Edison and Lolli’s. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Moberly. She loved to paint, woodwork, site seeing, and was very crafty. She loved her grandchildren and you couldn’t keep her away from them. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, her parents, and a brother, Monty Griffin. Survivors include: sons: Mark (Mandy) Lewis, and Jeff (Charity) Lewis all of Clifton Hill, Missouri; daughter, Gerry (Larry) Perkins of Moberly, MO; grandchildren: NaCole Lewis, Kiara Lewis, Jessica (Jake) Goosey, Dawna Perkins, Taylor Lewis, Bryson Ames, and Kaylynn Ames; and five great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly with Pastor Roy Hopkins officiating.
