Marjorie Stone Creed, 89, of Macon, passed away August 9, 2016 at Samaritan Hospital in Macon, MO. Marjorie was born in Atlanta, MO on August 9, 1927 to Lauren Powell and Ola Johnson Powell. She married Charles B. Stone in 1946 and he preceded her in death in 2000. In 2008 she married Wayne Creed and he survives of the home. Besides living in Macon, Marjorie also resided in Kirksville, Cairo, Jefferson City and Sikeston. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. Those preceding her in death are; her parents, her first husband, Charles Stone, brother, Dean Powell and sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Powell. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Creed of Macon, MO; daughter, Charline (Robert) Stone Livengood of Windsor, CO; step-children, Cherl (John) Andrews of MN, Jill (Tom) Winkler of Moberly, MO, Kym (Paul) Priest of Nixa, MO and Wendell (Cathey) Creed of Moberly, MO; grandchildren, Joseph Livengood of Aspen, CO, Gregory (Shannon) Livengood of Austin, TX and Philip (Jill) Livengood of Fort Collins, CO; 10 step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, extended family and friends. Services celebrating Marjorie’s life will be held Friday, August 12, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Pathway Memorial Funeral Home, Moberly, MO. Interment will follow at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the Cairo Jacksonville Lyons Club #9984 or to the Cairo Christian Church, 104 Baker St., Cairo, MO 65239.
