Mary Elizabeth McCoy

Mary Elizabeth McCoy, 72, of Moberly, Missouri, passed away on November 18, 2021, at her home. Mary was born November 10, 1949, in Macon, Missouri, to Arlo Barrett and Mildred Lucille(Shawk) Maloney. On September 6, 1966, she married the love of her life, Charles Thomas McCoy, they celebrated 55 years together before he passed away on November 10, 2021. She was a member of Timberlake Christian Church in Moberly, Missouri. Mary enjoyed crocheting, camping, and her family and friends. She loved spending time with her grandbabies even if they were not babies anymore. Besides for her husband, Charles Thomas McCoy, she was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, James Maloney. Survivors include her son, Charles "Mike" McCoy and wife Rhonda of Wooldridge, Missouri; daughter, Barbara McCoy of Moberly, Missouri; brother, Tom Maloney of Macon, Missouri; sister, Janie Fortenberry of Clarence, Missouri; grandchildren: Tiffany McCoy of Centralia, Missouri, and Michael McCoy of Moberly, Missouri; great-grandchildren: Makayla Leezer of Columbia, Missouri, and Johnathan Leezer of Centralia, Missouri. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church, 533 E. Rollins, Moberly, Missouri.
