Michael E. Gibson

Michael E. Gibson, 65, of Moberly, MO, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, October 19, 2026.

Michael was born on April 24, 1961, in Oceanside, California, to Franklin E. Gibson and Laura Brotherton Gibson.

Michael worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He was known for his sense of humor and always having a joke to tell. He enjoyed making others laugh and bringing a smile to the faces of those around him. He also shared a special bond with his beloved fur baby, Ginger.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mary Gibson; stepbrothers, Michael L. Gibson, William Phelps, and Sean Gibson; stepsisters, Michelle Ross, and Laura Mundis.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Anthony E. Gibson; and sister, Gertrude Jean Sousa “Jenny”.
