Michael Shawn Salmon

Michael Shawn Salmon 46, of Salisbury, Missouri passed away peacefully on June 2nd, 2026 at 5:53 P.M. at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri. Shawn was born on December 30, 1979 in Moberly, MO to Michael J. Salmon Sr. and Patricia Ann Howard.

Shawn loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his niece Tina, nephew Nick, and great niece Payton. He loved listening to music and going for rides on his side by side or his "rig" as he called it. He also enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, a good bonfire and ice cold beer.

Shawn is survived by his siblings: Tiffany RayAnn Elliott (Salmon) of Hannibal, Missouri; Yolanda Kim Schachtele of the home; Jesse Lee Howell (Shelly) of Glasgow, Missouri; Kenneth Eugene Nauerth (Valerie) of Clifton Hill, Missouri; Michael Jay Salmon Jr. of Boonville, New York; and Larry Wayne Nauerth ( Christina) of Higbee, Missouri. A step daughter Raven Eckman (Stan) of Moberly, Missouri, as well as 7 Grandchildren, 23 Nieces and Nephews and 13 Great Nieces and Nephews.

Shawn was preceded in death by his parents Patricia Ann Howard and Michael Jay Salmon Sr.; Maternal Grandparents Edith and Francis Howard; 1 Great Niece; 1 Great Nephew; 1 Great Great Nephew along with several Aunts and Uncles.

A graveside service will be held on June 9th at 11 A.M. in Moberly at Oakland Cemetery. The family is planning a Celebration of Life for Shawn at a later date.

Shawn touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
