Nancy Lynn Cantrell

Nancy Lynn Cantrell, 72, of Higbee, Missouri, formerly of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Columbia Manor Care Center. Nancy was born August 1, 1944 in Independence, Missouri to the late Benjamin and Edith Alton. In her younger years, Nancy was a horseshoe pitching champion and was very proud of that. On October 25, 1997 she married Keith Cantrell and celebrated 19 years of marriage. She loved to read and paint, and enjoyed her computer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jim Bray of Independence. Nancy is survived by her husband, Keith Cantrell of Higbee, Missouri , sons: Bill Bray of Centralia, Missouri and Mitchell Bray of Higbee, Missouri; daughters: Heather Lennon and Louella Cantrell both of Ladson, South Carolina; brother, Bud Alton of Arizona; sisters: Georgia Allgrunn of Independence, Missouri and Mary Kay Thomas of Kearney, Missouri; grandchildren: Mitch Jr., Houston, Cora, and Jasmine. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. at the Million Taylor Funeral Homes of Moberly.
