Nola Lynn Lampe

Nola Lynn Lampe, age 74, of Moberly, MO, walked through the gates of Heaven into Jesus’ arms on December 7, 2022, at Ravenwood Assisted Living, Moberly, MO.

Nola was born on October 24, 1948, in Moberly, MO, to Ola Rueben Clark and Florence Theresia (Howard) Clark.

She graduated from Salisbury High School in 1966. Nola was united in marriage to George Lampe on June 10, 1966, in Prairie Hill, MO.

Nola was a fabulous mom and took pride in her children and home. She enjoyed studying God’s Word, listening to the Gaithers, gardening, family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She read many different genres of books and enjoyed listening to Rory and Joey Feeks. Her family will always remember her being inquisitive of all things and being a wonderful cook, homemaker, and gardener.

Nola is preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Judy and Matilda (Tillie).

She is survived by her husband, George, Moberly, MO; children, LaVern (Athena) Lampe, Moberly, MO, and George Edward Lampe, Columbia, MO; grandchildren, David Lampe, Luftkin, TX, Jennifer (Joe) Desmangles’, Moberly, MO, siblings; Susan (Paul) Taylor, Kansas City, MO, Jane Peglow, Keytesville, MO, Sybil Ross, Sedalia, MO, Lue Boots, Moberly MO, William (Jeanie) Clark, Salisbury, MO; extended family and many special friends, including Peggy Stolee and Jennifer Fleming.

Interment will take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO. A Celebration of Life for Nola will be held at a later date at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, Moberly, MO.
