Ossie Mae Bailey

Ossie Mae Bailey, 76, of Cairo, passed away July 3, 2011 at the University Hospital & Clinics. She was born in Moberly to Irvin Kenneth and Velma Pearl (Via) Houchins. On June 22, 1952 in Moberly she married Gilbert LeRoy Bailey and he survives of the home. She is also survived by three sons Kenneth and Rosie Bailey of Clark, Terry and Donna Bailey of Cairo and Bruce and Jina Bailey of Sturgeon; two daughters Sheila and Gary Scheib of Chillicothe and Penny and Chuck Fifer of Clark; one brother Kenny and Betty Houchins of Troy; 8 grandchildren Tanya Bailey (who was raised as a daughter) Jerry Bailey, Curtis Bailey, Travis Bailey, Brandon Bailey, Trevor Bailey, Nikki Cross and Angel Smith; 5 step-grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services will be Thursday July 7, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at the Million-Taylor Funeral Home in Moberly. Visitation will be Thursday from 5-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Private family burial will be held at a later date. ...
